STEP 7 – CREATING FOREGROUND DETAILS AND HIGHLIGHTS

We will replicate the process of incorporating highlights for the tree foliage similarly to Step 3, employing our small round brush. Utilizing our fan brush, we can establish separation between the bottom of the treeline and the beginning of the grassy areas. Inverting your fan brush, gently contact the canvas, infusing it with those captivating shades of grass. Employing a filbert brush, softly merge various color tones to form smooth transitions from the shoreline’s edge into the darker shadows at the base of the hill. First of all, introduce lighter or darker tones using the Filbert brush. Once you have cleaned and dried your paintbrush on a fresh paper towel, carefully blend those colors. Lastly, continue adding grassy sections to provide cohesion to the overall composition.
