STEP 3 – CREATING DISTANT TREES

To effectively create the second layer without any undesired movements, one can quickly eliminate the layer using a damp sponge if there is a change of heart regarding its placement. Please refer to the video below for a visual demonstration of this process.
Regarding the second layer, we will amalgamate dark shades to generate a row of trees in the background. We will utilize highlight hues such as greens, yellows, and browns to make these trees shimmer in the sunlight. It is important to note that when applying these highlights, the more you lightly touch the paintbrush without reloading it, the brighter the color will appear. It is advisable to leave certain areas faded to introduce depth, allowing for a subtle contrast between the more colorful and darker tones. In addition, a palette knife and light colors will be utilized to depict distant tree trunks sporadically within the foliage.
For an enhanced painting experience, ensure to moisten your canvas, as previously detailed during preparation. I have included reference links below to make it more convenient for you.
Furthermore, remember to meticulously clean your brush whenever switching colors unless you intend to blend them (e.g., green and yellow).
